Job summary

Kaufman Lynn Construction in Delray Beach, FL, seeks a Senior Project Controls Engineer to lead complex project schedules across multifamily, healthcare, education, and commercial sectors with about 75% remote flexibility.

You will develop and maintain detailed schedules, lead pull planning, perform delay analyses and TIAs, define WBS/CBS with operations, coordinate with clients and subs, visit sites, report variances, and help drive on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years in construction with at least 5 years scheduling for a commercial GC.
• Background in multifamily/high-rise construction is required.
• Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 and independent schedule development.
• Skilled in preparing Project Logistics Plans.
• Experience leading meetings with architects and owners to review schedules.
• Ability to interpret construction plans and drawings accurately.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to support marketing presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and tracking systems.
• Lead pull planning sessions to optimize project delivery.
• Perform delay analyses and Time Impact Analysis (TIA) reports.
• Define WBS and CBS with operations.
• Prepare preliminary and GMP detailed schedules.
• Generate and publish variance reports and schedule updates.
• Coordinate schedule updates with clients, subs, and operations.
• Track progress with percentage complete and resource costs.
