Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Controls Engineer to lead cost control, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting for the Blue Grass Army Depot project.

You will integrate technical, financial, and operational data to support informed decisions and successful delivery, collaborating with engineering, construction, procurement, and operations teams. The role requires 7+ years in project controls on large-scale programs, strong EVMS knowledge, and proficiency in scheduling tools like Primavera

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Finance, or closely related field.
• 7+ years in lead project controls on large-scale U.S. government contracts.
• Experience with integrated project schedules and cost forecasts.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• EVMS experience on government or large programs.
• Certifications such as PMP, PSP, EVP, CCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated schedules, budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Establish and manage WBS, baselines, control accounts, and progress measurement.
• Perform cost control: budget development, variance analysis, EAC updates.
• Collect and integrate schedule, cost, EV data for insights.
• Monitor performance against baselines and identify risks and actions.
• Support change management with scope/schedule/cost impacts.
• Prepare program performance reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Coordinate with eng, procurement, construction, and ops teams for data quality.
• Support audits and reporting within regulated environments.
