LVI Associates, a leading project controls consultancy, seeks a Senior Project Controls Engineer to support major construction and infrastructure programmes in the United States.

The role focuses on developing, managing, and analysing CPM schedules while collaborating with project managers, contractors, owners, and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery through planning, scheduling, reporting, and risk analysis.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project controls and scheduling experience within construction.
  • Experience developing and managing CPM schedules on projects valued at $100M+.
  • Strong Primavera P6 experience.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Understanding of construction sequencing, means, and methods.
  • Experience with schedule analysis, reporting, and project controls.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update Primavera P6 schedules.
  • Create baseline schedules, milestones, and project reporting packages.
  • Perform schedule updates, critical path analysis, and progress tracking.
  • Identify schedule risks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Analyse contractor schedules and progress performance.
  • Prepare monthly reports, KPIs, and project control metrics.
  • Support cost and resource tracking activities.
  • Conduct site visits to validate project progress.
  • Communicate project status, challenges, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Job description

A leading project controls consultancy is seeking a Senior Project Controls Engineer to support major construction and infrastructure programmes. This role will focus on developing, managing, and analysing CPM schedules while working closely with project managers, contractors, owners, and other key stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time through effective planning, scheduling, reporting, and risk analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and update Primavera P6 schedules.
