Job summary

STRIKE in Spring, TX is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to analyze and report on project controls across our construction and maintenance projects. The role supports standardization of policies and mitigates risk with data-driven decision making.

The successful candidate will design dashboards using Power BI, maintain Excel models for forecasting, and develop SQL queries, all while ensuring data governance and integration with financial systems like JDE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in data analysis and project controls.
• Proficient in Power BI dashboards and data modeling.
• Experience with cost control, forecasting, and earned value reporting.
• Familiar with JDE/ERP data integration and project documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to define reporting needs and deliver data insights.
• Design and maintain dashboards and data models in Power BI.
• Build Excel financial models for forecasting and cost control.
• Analyze WIP, cost variance, and schedule variance to identify risks.
• Develop SQL queries to retrieve data from relational databases.
• Support data governance, metadata integrity, and job tagging.
• Explore AI tools to accelerate analysis and reporting while protecting data.
