Cockram Construction, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Controls Specialist to provide integrated analytical and reporting support for invoicing, cost, schedule, earned field progress, and changes for the Bio NC program.

The role converts large datasets into auditable, decision-useful information with visuals for Project Controls, Building Leads, the PMO, and Site Leadership. An ideal candidate combines advanced data mining and scheduling knowledge to interpret data, work across platforms, and improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years in project controls, analytics, cost administration, or scheduling in a large-capital environment.
• Experience with invoice review, financial reconciliation, and progress reporting.
• Working knowledge of construction terminology, earned progress, SPI/LPI, milestones, float erosion, critical-path concepts.
• Preferred: experience with pharmaceutical, life-sciences, manufacturing, engineering, or construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist intake, review, tracking, and reconciliation of invoices; validate cost codes and documentation.
• Maintain invoice logs, aging reports, and audit-ready records; resolve discrepancies with stakeholders.
• Extract, clean, and reconcile data from progress reports, cost reports, dashboards, and schedules.
• Support analytical tools and reporting products: progress trend, SPI/LPI, and executive findings.
• Produce first-pass analyses identifying anomalies, data gaps, and forecast movements.
• Support schedule data exports and reporting from Primavera Cloud or similar tools.
• Read high-level schedules and relate planned vs. earned progress.
• Develop succinct dashboards, Excel models, and standard visualizations.
• Document data sources, calculations, and rules for maintainability.
• Collaborate with Project Controls, Scheduling, Cost, Finance, Procurement, and PMO.
