Job summary

Our client is a leader in the Information Technology space and seeks a Senior Project Controls Analyst to manage Earned Value Management across federal programs in a remote capacity. You will serve as a key partner to program leadership, strengthening forecasting, reporting, and compliance while delivering clear program health insights.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contractors to monitor performance, develop forecasts, and provide executive-level briefings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10+ years in project controls and EVM.
• Experience with DoD or federal programs and DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior EVM and project controls expert for program office requirements.
• Analyze cost, schedule, performance, and risk data to identify trends.
• Review contractor performance data for compliance and program health.
• Evaluate EVM metrics and analyze variances.
• Develop independent assessments and forecasts for leadership.
• Prepare executive-level briefings on program performance.
• Identify opportunities to automate data collection and reporting.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Project Controls Analyst to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will serve as a key project controls and Earned Value Management partner supporting complex federal programs. The analyst will evaluate cost, schedule, performance, and risk data to deliver clear insights that help leadership monitor program health and make informed decisions. In this highly cross-functional role, you will work closely with program leadership and contractor stakeholders to strengthen forecasting, reporting, and compliance across mission-critical initiatives.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $160,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior EVM and project controls expert for program office requirements
• Analyze cost, schedule, performance, and risk data to identify trends

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project controls and Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Experience supporting complex DoD or federal government programs
• Advanced knowledge of EVM principles and variance analysis
• Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets and advanced Excel proficiency
• Active DoD Secret Clearance
