Job summary

Pinnacle Specialty Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Controls professional to lead cost management, scheduling, and financial analysis for complex projects.

This role requires strong proficiency with Primavera, COBRA, and PeopleSoft, plus the ability to guide multi-project analyses and optimize resources. The successful candidate will develop baselines, create cost controls, and deliver monthly financial reports while collaborating with management and clients.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business / construction management / technical / engineering or a related area and 5 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in business / construction management / technical / engineering or a related area and 7 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent
• An Associate's degree and 11 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent

Responsibilities

• Organize, develop, implement and maintain project controls, financial analysis and estimating applications for complex projects
• Develop cost and schedule baselines, milestones, WBS, and spend plans to optimize resource use
• Provide leadership and technical direction in multi-project analysis and problem solving
• Participate in cost reviews and schedule meetings, implement change management for engineering and construction work
• Analyze variances against plan and present mitigation plans to management
• Ensure alignment with CAS/FAR principles and client business units
• Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts and spend plans
• Mentor and train other Project Controls personnel
• Oversee testing and integration of financial applications and system enhancements
