Job summary

Responsibilities include manually generating purchase orders, negotiating pricing, tracking supplier performance, and supporting Accounts Payable with invoice issues. A bachelor's degree and 4–6 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• 4-6 years related procurement experience.
• Experience sourcing, negotiating, and coordinating materials.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers to meet project timelines.
• Generate and manage purchase orders in a manual purchasing environment.
• Negotiate pricing and delivery to meet cost and performance goals.
• Maintain supplier relationships and vendor setup in Oracle.
• Monitor supplier performance and material deliveries to ensure on-time receipt.
• Collaborate with Engineering and other teams to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
• Prepare monthly project cost reports for Finance.
• Assist Accounts Payable with invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Provide mentorship to Buyer I and II team members.
