Job summary

HDR’s architecture practice is seeking a senior architect to lead a multidiscipline team on architectural science projects. You will coordinate across phases, ensure code compliance with owner and agencies, and guide documentation and QA/QC.

Responsibilities include client meetings, coordinating with other disciplines, and providing construction contract administration as needed; the role requires strong communication, 10+ years of experience, and a Registered Architect credential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience.
• Registered Architect with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidiscipline team and perform layout and detailing on architectural science projects.
• Coordinate work of a multidiscipline team through multiple phases.
• Establish owner/client and internal meetings for code compliance reviews.
• Coordinate site work sessions with Project Manager and other disciplines.
• Review architectural documents for conflicts with other disciplines.
• Write and edit architectural specifications.
• Provide construction contract administration as needed.
• Perform QA/QC and technical reviews.
• Incorporate changes into project documents.
