Job summary

Gensler in Tampa seeks a Senior Project Architect to lead Core & Shell and Base Building projects from pursuit to construction administration. You will mentor teams, collaborate with multidisciplinary groups, and drive technically sound, design-forward solutions.

The role emphasizes client leadership, coordination with consultants, and delivering high-quality construction documents while working in our Tampa office. This is not remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture is required.
• Licensed/Registered Architect with active credentials preferred.
• 10–15+ years of architectural experience in Core & Shell, Base Building, and renovation projects.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and strong client management skills.
• Proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, SketchUp, and related design tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead large Core & Shell and Base Building projects from concept through construction administration.
• Collaborate with design leadership to develop innovative, technically sound solutions.
• Manage client, consultant, and contractor relationships across multiple jurisdictions.
• Direct project teams and coordinate consultants to ensure successful delivery.
• Oversee construction documents and specifications production and quality.
