HRsmart is seeking a Project Accounting Lead to support the Project Accounting Manager with daily team responsibilities, supervising project accountants, and providing financial insight on project health and milestones.

You will train staff, prepare client invoices, and support project managers with billing while ensuring accurate posting and revenue recognition. This hybrid role offers growth opportunities in a dynamic professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
• 10+ years of project accounting and billing in a professional services firm, preferably A/E/C.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor project accountants; conduct career conversations.
• Lead monthly billing meetings and manage project billing.
• Provide financial insight on project statuses and reporting.
