Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience within real estate development or construction.
• Strong understanding of job costing / project accounting.
• Experience with development accounting (land, horizontal, or vertical projects).
• Familiarity with WIP / percentage of completion (POC).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple real estate development projects
• Track and analyze project costs, budgets, and variances
• Prepare and review monthly financials for active developments
• Maintain and monitor job cost reporting and project-level forecasting
• Partner with project managers to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting
• Support draw requests, funding, and cash flow management
• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners (developers, lenders, etc.)
