Paradigm Power Delivery, a Babcock Power company, seeks a Lead Accountant to manage daily financial operations and reporting for Paradigm Enterprises Inc. You will collaborate with project controls, shared services and operations to ensure accurate, timely financial information for executives, with potential to grow into a Manager role.

A Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field, eight years of experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and Excel proficiency are required; Deltek CostPoint/PowerBI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Eight years of experience in accounting, financial reporting or public accounting.
• Technical knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles.
• Excel proficiency and MS Office skills.
• Experience with Deltek CostPoint, PowerBI, Power Query and InEight preferred but not required.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to connect with executives, engineers and field teams.
• Strong time management and problem solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of the Project Accounting function: Revenue Recognition Analysis, Project Set Up, Project Code Management, Weekly Progress Reporting, Weekly Project Cost Forecasting, Progress Billings and Collections, Project Cash Flows, and monthly reporting/analysis.
• Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and adhoc financial analyses.
• Assist Management in developing the 5-year financial plan and quarterly forecast updates.
• Establish accounting best practices and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with Shared Services to ensure transactions are recorded per US GAAP and reported accurately.
• Partner with Project Controls and PM teams to analyze and report on project performance.
• Provide feedback on financial assumptions used to develop project bids.
• Complete project financial checklists and cash forecasts for management review.
• Prepare vendor financial evaluations and monitor Inflation Reduction Act compliance across projects.
