In this mid-senior level role, you'll manage billing, cost tracking, and project closeout activities. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with 3+ years of relevant experience in the construction industry. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, alongside proficiency in ERP or construction management software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in construction or project-based industries.
• Strong understanding of contract billing, job cost accounting, and WIP reporting.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile monthly owner billings in alignment with contract terms and project milestones.
• Review contracts to identify billing requirements and ensure compliance with financial procedures.
• Analyze and process job-related costs in accordance with internal control policies.
• Partner with project managers to coordinate billing and track job costs.
• Manage subcontractor payments and lien waivers, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Support job closeout, including final reconciliations and accruals.
