Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of project accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in engineering or professional services required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills.
• TxDOT/public sector client experience a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project accounting including billings and invoicing.
• Review contracts and change orders for financial impact.
• Set up and maintain projects in accounting system.
• Input budgets and monitor variances.
• Meet with project managers to review status and invoicing.
• Close out project accounts upon project completion.
