Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the AEC industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Accurate and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Strong business oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Deltek Vision, MS Office/Teams, and Bluebeam.
• Proactive mindset and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, billing, expense tracking, and financial reporting for assigned projects.
• Maintain accurate project records including contracts, budgets, and billing terms.
• Advise Project Managers on budgeting for additional services to ensure profitability.
• Consult with clients on invoicing and adjust invoices as needed.
• Manage accounts payable for consultants’ invoices as part of client billing.
• Train new Project Managers on draft bill procedures.
• Prepare monthly AR reports and coordinate collections per policy.
• Provide PMs with project-related reports such as summaries and labor details.
