Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst for the SICAS Center. This remote position supports SUNY institutions using Banner and related systems.

You will design, implement, and maintain interfaces, reports, data loads, and data blocks while mentoring other developers. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of full-time software development experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of full-time professional experience in software development.

Responsibilities

• Participate as part of a technical team supporting 48 SUNY institutions using Banner.
• Create and maintain interfaces to third-party systems.
• Develop reports, data extracts, and data loads to and from Banner.
• Build Argos data blocks and reports.
• Provide ongoing technical support for SICAS applications and direct campus support.
• Develop design specifications based on business requirements.
• Build, test, and deploy solutions based on approved specifications.
• Independently manage medium-to-large scale projects with limited supervision.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor other programmers.
