SENIOR PROGRAMMER ANALYST
Department of Finance
Payroll Systems and Operations Bureau

Annual Starting Salary: $99,408
These positions are open to the general public and to all current city employees covered under the terms of the City's collective bargaining agreement with the AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (AFSCME) - (BARGAINING UNIT #01, 03, 04, 05)
Only employees in City job titles in this bargaining unit are eligible to bid.

Under general supervision, revises or develops existing and proposed applications for distributed and centralized processing systems, and performs related duties as required.

Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology/Systems, or a directly related field, plus two (2) years of experience in the design and development of computerized systems.
OR
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology/Systems, or a directly related field, plus one (1) year of experience in the design and development of computerized systems.
OR
Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology/Systems, or a directly related field, plus four (4) years of experience in the design and development of computerized systems.
OR
Six (6) years of experience in the design and development of computerized systems.

Selection Requirements: This position requires applicants to complete an interview.
