Job summary

CesiumAstro in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Senior Program Scheduler to join our aerospace programs. You will partner with subject matter experts to build and maintain MS Project schedules, integrate cost and schedule with an earned value framework, and support proposals and schedule performance monitoring.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, and strong MS Project and Excel skills.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of directly related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related fields from an accredited college or university.
  • Prior experience supporting spacecraft development.
  • Demonstrated experience with Scheduling and Financial management of projects.
  • Experience with financial management tools including earned value, with SPI/CPI measures.
  • Knowledge standard engineering industry practices and ideally space-related requirements.
  • Extensive experience with MS Project (including Resource Management), Excel and related.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex information.

  • Develop/maintain consistency to programs enabling cost/schedule integration and earned value consistent with existing Work Breakdown Structure.
  • Support the development of the reporting format, scheduling protocols, processes, techniques and software selection.
  • Support new business in proposals, monitor and maintenance of schedule performance and participate in schedule margin management.
  • Provide regular status reports to Program Management and Engineering leadership.
