Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager III to direct quality across a program of capital projects for the owner or EPC. You will establish the quality management system, lead Project Quality Managers, set supplier/contractor qualification standards, and represent the client in audits.

The role requires 10+ years in quality on capital projects and 5+ years directing programs, with certs such as ASQ CMQ-OE/CQA and ISO 9001 lead auditor.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in quality on capital projects.
• 5+ years directing quality programs and staff.
• Certifications: ASQ CMQ-OE or CQA; ISO 9001 lead auditor; NQA-1 lead auditor a strong plus.
• Experience as the quality authority on regulated programs (nuclear, energy, transportation, or federal).
• Executive-level communication and the judgment to stop work when needed.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the program quality management system, procedures, and audit program.
• Direct Project Quality Managers across projects and set performance standards.
• Own supplier and contractor qualification, the approved vendor list, and quality requirements in procurement.
• Represent the client in regulatory, certification, and third-party audits.
• Own corrective-action closure and report quality performance, risk, and cost to leadership.
