Job summary

CRG is seeking a full-time Program Officer III to support the Office of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor at the U.S. Department of State.

The role ensures effective execution of program requirements and develops evaluation methods for award life cycles. You will analyze proposals, monitor grants, coordinate with regional bureaus and congressional staff, and provide guidance on funding decisions, reporting, and post-award management in a global context.

Qualifications

• Experience with projects in closed or closing democratic spaces.
• Strong knowledge of 2 CFR 200.
• Experience in professional, fast-paced environments.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.
• Experience leading teams and handling diverse work styles.
• Understanding of international programming and NGO administration.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies and evaluation indicators with the team.
• Coordinate with SMEs to meet program deadlines.
• Coordinate with the Grants Officer Representative (GOR) in program administration.
• Oversee program funding for the assigned portfolio.
• Develop goals and programs for foreign assistance funding.
• Prepare budget and programmatic reports for grant data.
• Communicate program objectives to State Department and U.S. Government offices.
• Assist leadership in admin of international human rights funding.
