This position is for a senior professional with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise in Program Management, who leads medium to large-sized programs. Leader must demonstrate ability to develop program plans, schedules, and budgets while supporting strategic planning efforts, solutions for program problems, contract negotiations, and managing customer relationships.

What You Will Do
Leads all phases of a large, complex program and utilizes Earned Value Management to ensure adherence to program plans, schedules, and budgets for programs under his/her responsibility and recommends appropriate adjustments. Takes ownership of program P&L, and positively drives accountability and results
Owns the customer interface: Establish and foster a One Team culture with the customer, understand their needs and issues, work together on recovery scenarios, and ensure the customer receives exemplary standards of service and the best value proposition
Proactively adjust program behaviors as necessary, in response to trends outlined in quarterly customer-generated assessment reports
Leads customer site visits and engages in Government facing meetings
Participates in and leads the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, including coordinating preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operational budgets, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts to ensure legal compliance and to protect the organization’s interests
Identifies and reacts to program problems and supports solutions, such as allocation of resources, changing contractual specifications, and alternative strategy presentation to customer to drive increased scope for Collins and increased value to Collins and customers
Takes ownership of internal and external messaging aligned with stakeholder inputs. Prepares and presents internal and external executive-level briefs and Gate Reviews detailing program plans, progress reports, value-stream strategy, risks/opportunities, and results
Interfaces across multiple internal and geographically dispersed Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), ensuring consistent, level appropriate and effective messaging along with programmatic strategic requirements towards a definition of success and completion
Actively builds connections and strategic partnerships with others across functional, cultural, organizational, and global boundaries to improve business performance, ensure accurate resources allocation to the program, and align with company priorities
Looks for opportunities to grow the business, develops strategic plans for the future, and supports annual strategic planning efforts. Demonstrates an understanding of the social, political, legal, and economic trends and can assess the impacts to the business and suggest appropriate adjustments to the strategy
Travel for customer, company, and program related activities (appx. 25%)

Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
Experience with Earned Value Management and/or P&L Management
Customer-facing program leadership experience required

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
