Job summary

USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service is seeking a Senior Program Manager (GS-15) in Administrative Operations, Office of Human Resources. You will partner with internal districts and program areas to cultivate strategic relationships with academia, military, government, member organizations and the business community.

You will lead cross-sector modernization and negotiate enterprise talent acquisition strategies to secure a robust public health workforce pipeline.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience required: one year of experience at GS-14 level or equivalent in the private or public sector performing HR/talent management tasks.
• Experience aligning human capital plans with multi-year goals and changing agency missions.
• Experience partnering with senior leadership on succession planning, talent pipelines, and risk-mitigation frameworks.
• Experience implementing corporate HR policies or federal personnel regulations across an organization.
• Experience evaluating recruitment programs using workforce analytics and labor market data.
• Experience managing recruitment/hiring for a large organizational footprint, including headcount forecasting.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams to handle high-volume surge hiring.

Responsibilities
