Job summary

SMTC Corporation seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead strategic customer programs across the product lifecycle. You will partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Sales to ensure successful launches and sustained performance.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration, manage risks, and optimize profitability while mentoring junior PMs and ensuring executive-level communications. This role requires strong leadership and a proven EMS background.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years PM/ops/engineering in a manufacturing environment.
EMS experience strongly preferred.
Experience leading executive customer meetings and QBRs.
Proficient with ERP/MRP systems and financial performance metrics.
Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary business relationship manager for strategic customer accounts.
Lead complex Customer Focus Teams (CFTs) across cross-functional resources.
Manage multi-faceted programs through lifecycle balancing cost, schedule, and quality.
Lead executive-level communications, QBRs, and strategic business reviews.
Collaborate with functions to deliver integrated, profitable solutions.
Identify opportunities to improve profitability and drive business growth.
Mentor Program Managers and promote best practices.
