Job summary

Target is seeking a Senior Program Manager in Store Design to lead a diverse portfolio of design initiatives that bring the brand to life across stores, centers, and headquarters.

You will partner with Properties, Architecture, Construction, Real Estate, Engineering, Merchandising, Product, Store Operations, Technology, Finance, and external partners to plan, coordinate, and deliver scalable design solutions that enhance guest experience and drive enterprise growth.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project, program, or business management experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners and stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience developing project plans, schedules, dashboards, executive reporting, and governance documentation.
• Ability to work independently while navigating ambiguity and changing business priorities.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse business functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, communication strategies, success metrics, and resource plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams through all phases of project execution.
• Identify risks, resolve issues, manage dependencies, and facilitate decision-making to ensure successful project delivery.
• Communicate project status, recommendations, risks, and key milestones through clear, concise, and executive-ready communications.
