Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Program Manager for the OneSat Solar Array Production Program at our Oxnard, CA facility. You will lead cross-functional IPTs to ensure cost, schedule, and technical performance, transitioning from qualification to LRIP and full production.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in program management, strong leadership and communication skills, and experience with EVMS and contract management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 8+ years supporting customers in a project/technical lead role.
• Minimum 5+ years of program management experience.
• Proven analytical, technical, strategic and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in risk and opportunity management.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate customer relationships to develop opportunities within the customer community.
• Lead cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectives.
• Measure and report program performance.
• Deliver presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholders.
• Participate in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, budgets, and milestones.
• Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.
• Manage the program Statement of Work and master plans.
• Identify, distribute, track, and complete program requirements.
• Develop and adhere to budget baselines using EVM or similar controls.
• Identify, allocate and manage program resources, including workforce planning.
• Manage suppliers to meet program objectives.
• Adhere to internal processes, policies, and industry standards.
• Ensure the program team understands and adheres to contract scope and changes.
• Develop and adhere to master plans and schedules.
• Conduct risk and opportunity management practices to identify, mitigate and realize.
