Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Program Manager for our Oak Ridge, TN location to lead complex DOE/NNSA programs and drive multi-lab collaboration. You will oversee project integration, develop technical documents, and perform verification reviews, with a strong focus on radioactive material processing technologies.

The role requires 20+ years of DOE/NNSA experience, MS in a technical field, and the ability to obtain a DOE Q-clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level program management for oversight and execution of complex projects.
• Lead project integration activities, including development, issuance, and annual updates of technical documents, and verification reviews.
• Offer expert knowledge in analysis of radioactive materials at DOE/NNSA sites, focusing on Radioactive Material Processing Technologies.
• Foster relationships with national laboratory leaders, DOE senior management, and key business leaders.
• Ensure activities align with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
• Pursue continuous professional development and maintain discipline knowledge.
• Work safely and report health and safety incidents and concerns.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Your Role:

• Provide senior-level program management for the oversight and execution of complex projects.
• Lead project integration activities, including the development, issuance, and annual updates of technical documents, as well as conducting implementation verification reviews.
• Offer expert-level knowledge and guidance in the analysis of radioactive materials at DOE/NNSA national laboratories and sites, with a specific focus on Radioactive Material Processing Technologies.
• Foster relationships with national laboratory leaders, DOE senior management, and key business leaders to drive program success and collaboration.
• Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
• Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of an M.S. in a technical field.
• At least 20 years of experience working with DOE/NNSA programs and sites.
• In-depth understanding and working knowledge of advanced analytical techniques for radioactive materials.
• Proven ability to manage complex multi-laboratory programs and personnel effectively.
• Strong background in program management and business development.
• Must have or be capable of obtaining a DOE Q-clearance.
• The position may be filled on either a part-time or full-time basis, depending on candidate qualifications.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
