Job summary

TerraPower LLC. in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Principal Program Manager for Logistics & Transportation within Supply Chain.

You will lead the development and execution of multimodal logistics plans to deliver large nuclear components to construction sites and customer locations, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and on-schedule delivery. The role requires 8+ years in logistics, strong carrier relationships, and knowledge of NRC/DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in logistics and transportation, with oversized or critical equipment.
• Knowledge of NRC, DOT regulations and heavy-haul best practices.
• Experience managing high-value shipments on tight schedules.
• Strong stakeholder coordination and vendor management.
• Ability to travel 30-40%.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute logistics strategies and plans to reduce risk, support schedule, and optimize cost.
• Plan and manage transportation of oversized nuclear components, reactor modules, and long-lead items.
• Coordinate multimodal shipments (road, rail, barge, etc.).
• Facilitate route surveys, permitting, escorts, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop carrier strategies and negotiate with 3PLs during RFPs and renewals.
• Manage relationships with specialized carriers, heavy-haul providers, and logistics partners.
• Ensure logistics partners meet nuclear quality, safety, and security standards.
• Develop procedures aligned with NRC, DOT, and other regulations.
• Own logistics KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide performance reporting to leadership and executives.
• Partner with suppliers and project teams to align delivery schedules.
• Support logistics planning for major transitions.
