The platform is designed to take advantage of the modern internet, to be programmable, and to support agile software development. Fastly's customers include many of the world's most prominent companies, including GitHub, Yelp, Paramount, and JetBlue. We’re building a more trustworthy Internet.

Senior Program Manager, Network Infrastructure

The Senior Program Manager, Network Infrastructure will play a critical role in scaling the Fastly global network by leading the execution of our most impactful Network Infrastructure projects. Acting as a strategic bridge across Network Operations, Supply Chain, Data Center Provisioning, Data Center Infrastructure, Finance, and Legal, you won’t just track deliverables; you’ll drive complex, large-scale deployment plans to completion. You will join our high-impact Program Management Infrastructure team, reporting to the Senior Manager, and have a direct, tangible influence on the growth and success of Fastly's global infrastructure.

What You’ll Do:
  • Drive the end-to-end development and execution of build and deployment plans.

  • Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration between Infrastructure Acquisition Managers, Network Operations, Supply Chain, Data Center Engineering, Finance, Legal, and other partners, ensuring clear accountability and successful delivery.
  • Establish and maintain reporting frameworks to provide transparent visibility on deployment timelines, risks, and project health to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Proactively identify critical path bottlenecks, risks, and blockers, escalating issues with data-driven mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze project workflows to identify and implement opportunities for standardizing and automating processes, ensuring faster and more reliable infrastructure delivery.
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure the timely procurement and delivery of critical hardware and services.
  • Collaborate as a core member of a high-impact team dedicated to building and scaling the world's most performant edge computing network.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven track record of at least 5-7+ years driving large-scale infrastructure programs within cloud services, CDN, OTT, data center, or telecommunications environments.
  • Technical fluency in data center and network infrastructure architecture, including power specifications, hardware deployment, and physical layer components.
  • Experience working in a Production Engineering environment with a focus on Network Engineering, Acquisition, or Delivery.
  • Proficiency in advanced project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet) and data visualization to track milestones and capacity.
  • Experience in process analysis and improvement to drive operational efficiency and standardization.
  • Experience with global capacity planning, supply chain logistics, and managing hardware deployment lifecycles.
  • Strong stakeholder management, ability to navigate ambiguity, and the leadership to drive consensus across diverse engineering teams.
  • Experience in incident management or post-mortem analysis to improve long-term system reliability.
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable project roadmaps for non-technical stakeholders.
We’ll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these:
  • PMP or other project management certification
  • Experience with Dell and Hyve hardware
