Newport News Shipbuilding seeks a seasoned program director to oversee large-scale defense programs from inception to completion. You will own cost, schedule, and technical performance, negotiate contracts, and lead reviews with the customer.

This role requires leadership across disciplines and a track record of delivering complex programs on time and within budget. As part of HII, you will drive milestones, resource allocation, and risk management while coordinating with engineering,

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years progressive professional or supervisory experience.
• Master's Degree with 6+ years relevant experience.

Mansioni

• Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs.
• Leads program reviews with customer to discuss cost, schedule and technical performance.

NNS Apprentice School graduate

Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate

Associate's Degree or other 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience

Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience

High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience

High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
