Job summary

Riverside Research Institute in the United States seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead materials characterization and modeling R&D programs. You will oversee a large, technically diverse team, manage finances, schedules, and deliverables, and drive capture of new contract work.

You will work with government customers, contractor partners, and technical leads to develop long-term strategies, prioritize tasks, and ensure project success across DoW and IC contracts.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI/SAP.
• 12+ years of experience and a degree in Engineering, Business/Management/Entrepreneurship, or related fields.
• Active Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Prior program management experience with a DoW or IC contractor.
• Must have recent experience managing R&D programs.
• Proven track record of identifying and capturing new work and on-contract growth.
• Experience managing financials across multiple projects and contracts.
• Experience managing subcontractors, consultants and procurement activities.
• Experience in proposal development.
• Experience creating and presenting reports and briefs to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective customer relationships with stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor a large, technical team.
• Manage day-to-day operations, work plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Plan scope, deliverables, resources, and schedules with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with government customers and partners on long-term strategies.
• Cultivate relationships with DoW and IC partners.
• Oversee subcontracting, consulting, and procurement for programs.
• Identify and capture growth opportunities to expand the portfolio.
• Other duties as assigned.
