Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a large contract to rationalize, navigate, modernize/migrate and sustain its IT portfolio in a multi-cloud hybrid infrastructure. This position will be located in Northern VA / DC Metro area and will be hybrid position with periodic travel to the customer site in Washington, D.C.

The PM will direct all phases, manage cost, schedule and technical performance, coordinate proposals, and serve as the primary customer contact, driving new business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, business administration, mathematics, or engineering.
• 15+ years of IT experience, incl. building, operating, and improving environments similar to HHS with enterprise cloud modernization in the last 3 years.
• As lead executive, the PM has overall responsibility for financial, technical, administrative, contractual, and personnel aspects of the Task Order.

Responsibilities

• Directs all program phases from inception to completion.
• Accountable for cost, schedule and technical performance.
• Coordinates proposals, budgets, statements and contract terms.
• Leads customer reviews and serves as primary program contact.
• Develops new business with the customer and sets milestones.
• Directs resources and staff across technical, manufacturing, and admin areas.
• Manages multiple programs and may run a field office and supervise staff.
• Forecasts contract funding and program financial performance.
• Leads major proposals and supports new business development.
• Preferred: experience with HHS OIG.
