Job summary

Hitachi Global Air Power, based in Michigan City, Indiana, seeks a seasoned Project/Program Manager to lead new product development and lifecycle activities for industrial and portable products. You will drive schedules, track KPIs, and coordinate across engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 7–10 years in PM, and proficiency with MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
PMP certification desirable.
7–10 years of project/program management experience.
Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills.
Proficient with MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel.
SAP ERP/PLM experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead planning and execution of new product development and lifecycle activities.
Develop and drive the program schedule with cross-functional teams.
Monitor progress on schedule, scope, cost, and risk with KPIs.
Document program targets and ensure delivery of actions and deliverables.
Prepare materials for monthly NPD program reviews.
Manage multiple programs simultaneously.
