Overview

Amazon Worldwide Operations is seeking a Senior Program Manager for Fleet Solutions. This role involves managing strategic, tactical, cross-functional, and technology projects within Amazon Logistics. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance vehicle uptime and optimization, while building innovative products from scratch.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement efficient, sustainable programs from concept to execution.
  2. Define project scope, create detailed plans, and manage budgets.
  3. Report project status, risks, and changes to Senior Management.
  4. Lead complex, cross-functional programs impacting multiple teams.
  5. Establish program strategy, set objectives, analyze data, and measure success with metrics.
  6. Operate independently in ambiguous environments, understanding business challenges and automation constraints.
  7. Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and engineering to prioritize projects.
  8. Identify and address gaps between teams, processes, and systems to prevent failures.
  9. Communicate with vendors, business leaders, and executives to support key initiatives.
  10. Develop and oversee KPI reporting for various programs.
  11. Manage vendors and implement mechanisms to improve program efficiency.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management.
  • Proficiency in using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end program strategy and delivering results to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in process improvement initiatives.
  • Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, HR, organizational development, or related fields.
