Job summary

The City of Philadelphia seeks a Senior Project Manager of Early Childhood Initiatives and Partnerships to lead strategic programs across departments. You will drive workforce development, early intervention, and intergovernmental collaborations to advance high-quality early learning for Philadelphia’s children.

Required: a bachelor’s in Education/Policy/Strategic Management and 5+ years in relevant roles; master’s preferred. Equity, collaboration, and impact are core here.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Education, Policy, Strategic Management or related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred for advanced policy/management work.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in relevant field.
  • Early Childhood experience preferred; focus on program development and partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Support the City’s early childhood initiatives from concept to implementation.
  • Engage with local, regional, and national ECE leaders to shape policies.
  • Oversee workforce development, planning, and data analysis for the ECE sector.
  • Lead cross-departmental partnerships to advance City priorities.
  • Prepare executive briefings and present to senior leadership.
