Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Early Career Recruiting, to own the strategy and end-to-end planning of intern and rotation experiences across the full lifecycle. You will design scalable, inclusive programming and partner with University Recruiting and stakeholders to ensure alignment with Blue Origin's mission and workforce needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years in program management, recruiting operations, university recruiting, or related field.
  • Experience owning and delivering complex programs with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong project management, planning, and risk management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience using data and reporting to drive improvements.
  • Ability to build trusted cross-functional partnerships and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment; proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and end-to-end planning of early career experiences across onboarding, programming, engagement, and conversion for interns and rotation programs.
  • Design scalable, high-quality programming aligned to business priorities and mission.
  • Partner with University Recruiting and stakeholders for consistency across experience design and communications.
  • Lead onboarding, training, and enablement resources for participants, managers, and mentors.
  • Develop and manage onboarding guidance, dates, content, events, and program updates.
  • Create immersive learning experiences connecting to Blue Origin's work and culture.
  • Lead engagement strategies to foster belonging and community.
  • Use feedback and data to improve satisfaction, learning outcomes, and conversion.
  • Oversee operational components from pre-boarding to offboarding with People Operations.
  • Collaborate with Communications to strengthen employer brand and alumni outreach.

This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations. As Senior Program Manager, Early Career Recruiting, you will own and evolve Blue Origin's intern and rotation experience strategy across the full early career lifecycle—from onboarding, engagement through conversion/placement and long-term community connection. This role is responsible for designing and delivering a high-impact, inclusive, and scalable early career experience that strengthens Blue Origin's early talent brand and creates meaningful connection to the company well beyond the program. You will partner closely with University Recruiting, business leaders, intern managers, mentors, People Operations, onboarding teams, and Communications to deliver exceptional programming, operational excellence, and measurable outcomes. You will help shape how early career candidates experience Blue Origin, how they represent the brand externally, and how alumni remain engaged as future hires, advocates, and ambassadors.

What You’ll Do

Own the strategy and end-to-end planning of Blue Origin's early career experience across the full lifecycle, including onboarding, programming, engagement, and conversion for interns, rotation programs, and other hiring paths. Design and deliver scalable, high-quality programming that creates a meaningful, inclusive, and memorable experiences aligned to business priorities and Blue Origin's mission Partner with University Recruiting and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistency and strategic alignment across early career programming, communications, and experience design Develop and lead onboarding, training, and enablement resources for participants, managers, and mentors to strengthen program readiness and success Build and manage key communications for participants, managers, and mentors, including onboarding guidance, key dates, learning content, events, and program updates Partner with business leaders across functions to create immersive, hands-on learning experiences that connect to Blue Origin's work, culture, and mission Introduce and scale innovative program elements such as peer learning pods, manager toolkits, impact projects, mentorship circles, and cross-site showcases Lead engagement strategies that foster belonging, connection, and community throughout the program Use survey feedback, program data, and stakeholder insights to continuously improve overall satisfaction, learning outcomes, and conversion results Oversee key operational components of the experience, coordinating with onboarding and People Operations partners to ensure a seamless experience from pre-boarding through offboarding Partner with Communications teams to strengthen storytelling around the experience and elevate Blue Origin's employer brand through authentic, early career-led content Launch and manage programs that enable participants to serve as brand ambassadors across social platforms and other communities Build and grow Blue Origin's alumni community by creating meaningful touchpoints for early career talent Partner with campus recruiting teams to activate alumni as mentors, advocates, and potential future hires for all programming Stay informed on market trends, competitor practices, and emerging ideas in early talent programming, intern engagement, and community building.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (including military)
  • 6+ years of experience in program management, recruiting operations, university recruiting, early talent, people programs, or a related field
  • Experience owning and delivering complex programs with multiple stakeholders and moving parts
  • Strong project and program management skills, including planning, execution, prioritization, and risk management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using data, feedback, and reporting to identify insights and drive program improvements
  • Ability to build trusted cross-functional partnerships and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, solve problems, and adapt in a fast-paced environment, taking initiative without waiting for direction
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in university recruiting, internship programming, early career development, or talent brand initiatives
  • Experience applying AI-enabled tools to program operations, content, or communications
  • Experience designing inclusive engagement programs, learning experiences, or community-building initiatives at scale
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decisions through insight, credibility, and collaboration
  • Strong attention to detail with a high bar for candidate and employee experience
  • Experience managing multi-site or national programs with an eye toward consistency and local relevance
  • Familiarity with TA systems and tooling (ATS, CRM, survey platforms, reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Smartsheet)
Benefits

Base Pay Range for: WA applicants is $134,434.00 - $188,207.25

  • Benefits include: Medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%, and an Education Support Program.
  • Stock Options for all regular employees (working at least 20 hours/week)
  • Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.
  • Dependent on role type and job level, employees may be eligible for benefits and bonuses based on the company's intent to reward individual contributions and enable them to share in the company's results, or other factors at the company's sole discretion.
  • Bonus amounts and eligibility are not guaranteed and subject to change and cancellation.

Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical.
