Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to lead the USSOCOM ISSJ-III effort at Fort Bragg, NC. You will manage staffing, subcontractors, and onboarding while coordinating with the ISSJ PMO on requirements and deliverables.

The role requires 10+ years of DoD/program management experience, PMP/PgMP, and TS/SCI clearance. On-site work at Fort Bragg is required with responsibilities spanning cost, schedule, and performance tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in subject matter area or closely related discipline.
• Ten or more years of managerial experience within USSOCOM, JSOTF, or other DoD or equivalent Government agencies such as Intelligence Communities and DHS.
• PMI PMP or PgMP certification.
• Ability to learn on the job and proactively address issues and opportunities.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.
• Experience with administrative tracking tools and processes focused around timekeeping, training, and certs.

Responsibilities

• Work with Talent Acquisition to recruit, hire, and onboard ISSJ analysts.
• Manage subcontractors providing staffing support and ensure QA, deliverables, and onboarding.
• Coordinate with ISSJ PMO on requirements, status updates, and process improvements.
• Track cost, performance, and schedule through key metrics and milestones.
• Oversee onboarding requirements including 101 enrollment, security clearance, and accounts setup.
• Lead administrative program improvements and efficiencies.
• Identify risks and issues and develop plans to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Create and maintain project schedules and documentation; escalate issues as needed.
• Prepare Monthly Status Reports with financial tracking artifacts.
• Identify growth opportunities and draft cost estimates and technical plans for new work.
