Job summary

National Center for Defense Manufacturing (NCDMM) is seeking a Senior Program Manager in Johnstown, PA, to lead customer project initiatives, ensure on-time and on-budget delivery, and manage the interface with DoD representatives. The role spans multi-month to multi-year programs with values up to tens of millions and annual follow-on business opportunities in the $2–$3 million range.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering with 10 years of experience, or Bachelor's with 15 years.
• Experience in manufacturing and machining with supervisory responsibilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and multi-organizational teams.
• Experience with Department of Defense.
• Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills.
• Willing to travel.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes for defense components, additive manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall Program Leadership responsibility for selected programs including, but not limited to: reviewing project input for completeness and developing/overseeing SOW, cost proposal and timeline generation.
• Identify project team and oversee project team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Serve as first line interface with customers and manage communications and information exchange.
• Provide input for NCDMM strategic planning and identify new sources for program management opportunities.
• Supervise team members and support annual reviews.
• Monthly reporting to customers and DoD representatives.
