Job summary

Barber-Nichols is seeking an accomplished Program Manager to lead the Air Turbine Pump (ATP) programs and coordinate cross-functional teams from contract award through delivery. The role requires strong technical acumen and experience in manufacturing or production program management for highly engineered systems.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, PMP preferred, 6+ years of relevant experience, and willingness to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in program management in manufacturing or engineering.
• Experience with government contracting requirements (DFARS, ITAR) and high compliance environments.
• Experience with program management systems and tools; strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional program teams from award through delivery for complex build-to-print equipment.
• Manage schedules, budgets, scope, and risks; formulate recovery plans for variances.
• Support Sales with accurate program estimates to maximize program success.
• Foster collaboration and accountability across all program partners.
