Job summary

CDR Maguire Engineering seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead multiple transportation projects, planning, organizing, and controlling efforts in support of the Regional Program Management Director. You will coordinate design reviews, manage budgets and contracts, and mentor staff across the division.

Qualified candidates have a PE, 10+ years in civil engineering design or management, and strong communication; familiarity with PennDOT and FHWA policies is essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible engineering design or design management experience.
• Proficiency with PennDOT Design Manuals 1–5 and related DOT/FHWA policies.
• Certified Project Management Professional preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple concurrent projects for an agency program, including budget control and funding oversight.
• Monitor project performance and develop action plans for schedule or quality issues.
• Coordinate and chair design reviews and related meetings.
• Manage contracts and work with grant agencies at state and federal levels.
• Mentor agency staff and promote client service excellence across divisions.
