Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager for the Alexa Devices team to lead concept, development, and launch of Alexa devices. You will work with HW, OS, software, UX, finance, marketing, and leadership to ship devices globally.

You will manage complex product cycles, influence designs, and drive cross-functional collaboration across diverse teams to deliver high-quality devices on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with end to end product delivery.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
• Experience managing technical products or online services.
• Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational relationships with support teams and internal operations partners to drive performance.
• Demonstrate analytical and quantitative skills using data and metrics to back up assumptions and build business cases.
• Collaborate with Customers, Project Sponsors, Technical Product Managers and internal teams to define and deliver complex solutions.
• Proactively identify opportunities to simplify processes.
• Contribute to and influence technical designs.
• Lead cross-functional teamwork across groups with competing priorities.
• Lead the delivery of large, complex technical projects and programs.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, balance business needs with technical constraints.
• Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.
• Create and share program information with stakeholders.
• Travel up to 25%.
