Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive new consumer devices from prototype to customer launch. You will coordinate design, engineering, manufacturing, and software partners to deliver high-quality devices for the home.

You will own end-to-end program plans, manage schedules and budgets, and report progress to senior leadership in a fast-moving, small team environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams.
• 5+ years in technical product or program management.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management with software teams.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional programs and release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program plan for one or more new consumer hardware devices from validation to customer launch.
• Drive schedule, scope, budget, and risk across hardware and software workstreams.
• Partner with contract manufacturers and external partners to execute prototype builds and pilot production.
• Coordinate silicon, camera, audio, thermal, mechanical, electrical, and connectivity workstreams.
• Manage build plans, BOM cost, yields, and quality gates.
• Provide concise, data-backed program updates to leadership.
• Develop tailored program mechanisms for small, fast-moving devices.
