Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible program/operational management experience on federal contracts.
  • Experience as a federal law enforcement agent is highly desirable.
  • 5–7 years of experience managing budgets and financial performance.

Job description

Suvi is seeking a Senior Program Manager responsible for the overall leadership, management, financial performance, and execution of multiple Federal Government contracts and task orders. The Senior Program Manager will ensure contractual requirements, customer expectations, staffing, financial objectives, schedules, deliverables, and quality standards are achieved.

The successful candidate must operate with a high degree of independence, ownership, accountability, organization, and initiative and effectively manage multiple customers, contracts, personnel, and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple Federal contracts and task orders throughout the full contract lifecycle, including transition, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
  • Maintain accountability for program performance, including technical execution, staffing, schedule, financials, deliverables, quality, risk, security, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage contract financial performance, including revenue, profitability, forecasting, budgeting, staffing utilization, funding, and cost control.
  • Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, action trackers, staffing plans, risk registers, metrics, and management reports.
  • Ensure contractual deliverables, SLAs, KPIs, and other performance requirements are accurately tracked and completed on time.
  • Serve as a primary management interface with Government customers, Contracting Officers, CORs, and other key stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships, anticipate issues, and develop timely solutions to address performance concerns.
  • Lead customer meetings, program reviews, and internal management reviews.
  • Manage recruiting, hiring, onboarding, assignment, performance, development, and retention of program personnel.
  • Provide leadership, direction, mentoring, and performance expectations to employees, supervisors, and site leads.
  • Manage employee timekeeping, travel, expenses, payroll coordination, and other personnel-related program requirements.
  • Monitor subcontractor and vendor performance, including staffing, costs, schedules, deliverables, and technical compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, contractual requirements, FAR requirements, security standards, and quality processes.
  • Identify, manage, and communicate program risks, issues, corrective actions and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with HR, Recruiting, Finance, Contracts, Subcontracts, Security, IT, and other corporate support organizations.
  • Support business development, capture, proposals, pricing, recompetes, and organic growth opportunities.
  • Provide senior leadership with recommendations regarding resource utilization, financial performance, risk mitigation, staffing, and business opportunities.
  • Conduct periodic customer and program site visits and support contract transition and startup activities as required.

This remote position requires applicants to be located in or within a reasonable commuting distance of Huntsville, Alabama, as occasional meetings at the customer’s location are required.

Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible program, project, or operational management experience supporting the FBI or other Federal Government contracts or programs. FBI program or project management experience is strongly preferred.
  • Must have prior experience as a federal law enforcement agent, with prior service as an FBI Special Agent highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience managing budgets and financial performance, including forecasting, profitability, staffing, and P&A responsibility.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent contracts, customers, functional areas, and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Must be available to address priority customer and program requirements as necessary.
  • Periodic travel may be required.
