Job summary

Insight Global in Pleasanton, CA is seeking an experienced Senior Project/Program Manager to plan, organize, and drive initiatives from initiation through execution. You will identify risks, build mitigation plans, manage budgets, and schedule timelines for timely delivery.

You will partner with Finance and Technology leaders to align programs, provide leadership to project teams, report progress against objectives, and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in project or program management, defining, launching, and iterating on impactful projects or programs.
• Strong experience in project management methodologies and templates.
• Proficiency in program tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and Smartsheets).

Job description

Plan, organize, and be responsible for the projects from initiation through execution while identifyingrisks and issues, facilitate mitigation plans, handle budget, and successfully schedule timeline toimplement quickly.

• Proactively build strong, trusted working relationships with Finance functional leaders and BusinessTechnology partners to drive alignment and optimize project operations.
• Provide structure and guidance to lead, motivate, and hold accountable project team members anddeliver on priorities.
• Drive and report progress against program objectives and goals.
• Communicate efficiently, timely, and with a level of detail and format appropriate to the audience.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills are a must.
• Gain a deep understanding of the business challenges and overall goals to enable you to steerworking teams through issues.
• Possess strong written and verbal presentation skills and be adept at influencing and gainingconsensus

• Strong Decision Making skills in complex program and project-related matters with proven ability toevaluate strategic options, assess risks, and drive effective solutions.
• Deep understanding of Governance Management principles
• Proven Proactive Thinking skills by anticipating strategic challenges and developing contingencyplans for programs.
• Proven Schedule Development skills by creating integrated master schedules and managing criticalpaths for complex programs.
• Proven ability to lead Stakeholder Engagement by building strong relationships, influencing keystakeholders, and managing expectations at various levels.
• Solid understanding of Strategic Alignment and the ability to ensure programs directly contribute toand support organizational goals and strategic objectives.
