FOX News Channel is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional programs across our digital product portfolio. You will partner with senior leaders to translate strategic priorities into executable plans, driving governance, risk management, and delivery across multiple agile teams.

A strong leader is needed to navigate ambiguity, apply SAFe pragmatically, and elevate delivery performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in program management or technical program management for complex delivery

JOB DESCRIPTION ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Program Manager, you will be a key member of the Delivery team, leading complex, high-impact programs across our portfolio of digital products and value streams. You will operate at the intersection of technology, product, and business strategy, partnering with senior and executive stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into executable plans and drive successful outcomes across multiple teams and initiatives. You will provide program-level leadership across planning, execution, risk and dependency management, and delivery, while establishing the structure, transparency, and operating rhythms teams need to succeed. You will also play a leadership role in evolving our ways of working, applying SAFe and Agile best practices pragmatically to improve alignment, predictability, and delivery across the organization. This role requires a strong leader who can navigate ambiguity, influence without direct authority, anticipate and resolve complex delivery challenges, and build trusted relationships across technical and business teams.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead complex, cross-functional programs across multiple teams and value streams, driving alignment from strategic planning through execution and delivery
• Partner with senior and executive stakeholders to translate business and product strategy into actionable program plans, priorities, milestones, and measurable outcomes
• Establish program governance, operating rhythms, and delivery frameworks that provide clear accountability, visibility, and decision-making across stakeholders
• Proactively identify, assess, and manage program-level risks, issues, dependencies, and organizational changes, driving resolution and escalating critical decisions when necessary
• Provide clear, timely, and actionable communication to senior leadership on program health, milestones, risks, dependencies, tradeoffs, and outcomes
• Drive accountability across teams for commitments, budgets, timelines, and outcomes while partnering with leaders to remove obstacles and resolve complex delivery challenges
• Lead planning and coordination across multiple Agile teams, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and other cross-team planning and execution ceremonies
• Lead the adoption and continuous improvement of delivery practices, processes, and tools, applying SAFe and Agile principles pragmatically based on organizational and team needs
• Identify opportunities to improve program execution, predictability, transparency, and operational effectiveness, and lead initiatives to implement those improvements
• Serve as a trusted advisor to Product, Engineering, and business leaders, facilitating alignment and decision-making across competing priorities and complex dependencies
• Mentor and coach program and delivery team members on program management methodologies, Agile practices, stakeholder management, and delivery best practices
• Build strong, trusted relationships with executives, stakeholders, delivery teams, and external partners to enable effective collaboration and successful program outcomes
• Stay current on program management, Agile delivery, technology, and media industry trends and apply relevant best practices to continuously evolve how teams operate

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Typically, 8+ years of experience in program management, technical program management, project management, or related delivery roles, including significant experience leading complex, cross-functional technology programs
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale programs involving multiple teams, workstreams, stakeholders, dependencies, and competing priorities
• Proven ability to partner with senior and executive stakeholders, influence decision-making, and create alignment between business strategy and technical execution
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and demonstrated experience applying Agile practices within complex technology organizations
• Experience working within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment, including facilitating PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, or similar cross-team planning and coordination activities
• Demonstrated ability to establish or evolve program management processes, governance, operating rhythms, and delivery practices
• Strong program leadership skills with the ability to anticipate risks, navigate ambiguity, resolve complex problems, and drive decisions across teams without direct authority
• Experience partnering closely with Software Development leadership, Product Owners, Product Management, business leaders, and other cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong understanding of technology delivery and the importance of stability, reliability, and the customer experience within production environments
• Proficiency with the Atlassian suite and other relevant program and project management tools
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations, decisions, and actions for technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to listen, facilitate productive discussions, and build trusted relationships across all levels of an organization
• Proficiency with AI-powered tools and demonstrated ability to leverage AI to improve productivity, workflows, analysis, and/or decision-making
• Regular, on-site attendance at the workplace a minimum of 3 days per week is an essential function of the position. Selected candidate must be able to reliably meet this requirement

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

• Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified SAFe® Release Train Engineer (RTE), or comparable Agile or program management certifications
• Experience establishing SAFe processes, ceremonies, or Agile delivery practices within an organization or team from the ground up
• Experience serving as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or performing comparable leadership responsibilities across an Agile Release Train
• Experience supporting digital media, streaming, sports, or other high-scale consumer technology products

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $128,000.00-185,000.00 annually.

This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
