Job Description

This role is responsible for working with an internal cross-functional team to scope projects, create work plans, track progress against work schedules, track budget progress and burn rates, keep plans up to date and publish results, create and present management reports on project outcome and status. The individual would be responsible for establishing and meeting user and stakeholder requirements (e.g. regulatory) and adhering to our design control processes for executing and tracking projects. This position will also be responsible for maintaining all active project plans in MS Project, meeting internal stakeholder reporting requests (e.g., OnePlan reporting), and communicating/presenting on the project status as required by the Project Management Office.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Create and maintain integrated project plan(s), RAID log(s), and project contract(s) with direction from key stakeholders and cross functional team members.
  • Maintaining all work plans, enter status and burn rate within MS Project.
  • Perform resource management including forecasting resource requirements.
  • Create management reports and presentation to keep senior leadership up to date on schedule, budget, and deliverable status.
  • Collect, organize, and elevate project issues and risks.
  • Create and maintain collaboration environments using MS SharePoint/Teams.
  • Responsible for creating and organizing project documentation for compliance traceability.
  • Facilitates weekly project meetings to collect status and discuss project issues / potential risks.
  • Able to think strategically about product development execution (scenario planning, parallel pathing, etc.)
  • Aid cross functional team in the creation of risk mitigation plans
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (business, engineering, or related analytical field)
  • Minimum of 10 years of project management
  • A proven track record of bringing integrated software / hardware products from the early development phase to production / launch.
  • Experience engaging, working, and managing the output of third-party suppliers
  • Experience with best practices and tools for development of electronic products
  • A strong ability to discern between lower and higher priorities
  • Learn very quickly with an aptitude for technical subjects
Preferred Qualifications
  • History of working in a PMO organization
  • History of managing a project budget of >$1M
  • History of managing projects within the medical device industry (5+ years)
  • Business and Financial Acumen: Mastery skills in understanding the business and project financials, being agile and applying expertise in communication and working with diverse groups of people and skill sets.
  • Mastery of project scheduling skills and use of MS Projects
