Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Senior Director to serve as the overall Account Leader for a major health marketplace program. You will drive executive engagement, strategic direction, and delivery excellence across financial, operational, and technical domains.

The role encompasses cross-functional leadership, governance, and transformation initiatives to meet client objectives, with travel for meetings and program-related activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in related field required.
• 12-15 years of professional experience in a related field required.
• Experience leading government services programs within the Health and Human Services (HHS) sector.
• Demonstrated experience managing large, complex programs with responsibility for operational and technology delivery.
• Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams in a client-facing environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess situations, adapt to changing business needs, and make sound decisions.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational oversight and day-to-day program management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the project's financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure program operations comply with contract requirements and regulations.
• Lead strategic planning, scheduling, and prioritization of operational goals.
• Direct project administrative operations including budget controls and HR.
• Guide governance, risk management, and performance monitoring across programs.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across business, operational, technical, and PMO teams.
• Support RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs with strategic proposals and management approaches.
• Lead large-scale programs from strategy through implementation and stabilization.
