Job summary

Edelman Smithfield is seeking a VP, Program Director to lead integrated client programs with strong governance, forecasting and cross-functional leadership. You will mentor project managers, shape delivery standards and partner with strategy, creative and production teams to drive profitable outcomes.

The role requires 8+ years of PM experience in marketing or professional services, executive presence and expertise in Smartsheet and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of progressive project management experience in integrated marketing or related services.
• Experience leading large-scale, integrated programs across multiple disciplines.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to navigate ambiguity and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior program management lead across a portfolio of integrated client engagements, providing strategic oversight for multiple workstreams and teams.
• Define delivery strategies, project approaches and governance models to drive execution from kickoff through completion.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate opportunities, develop scopes of work, staffing plans, timelines and budgets.
• Lead project planning, financial management and forecasting to ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope and profitably.
• Oversee project managers, provide coaching and escalation support throughout lifecycles.
• Anticipate risks, resolve issues, and lead change management balancing client expectations and business goals.
• Drive conversations with clients related to delivery strategy, scope and financial implications.
• Establish scalable workflows and quality control across deliverables and workstreams.
