Job summary

You will coordinate incident response, risk management, and security architecture to protect mission systems and data. Responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, alignment with NASA standards, and guiding enterprise cyber initiatives while maintaining compliance with federal frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five (5) total years of cyber leadership or enterprise cybersecurity program management experience.
• Extensive experience working within the NASA environment and developing cybersecurity solutions tailored to NASA mission needs.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to clearly explain complex cybersecurity concepts to diverse audiences, including executives and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience managing customer relationships, particularly in high‑visibility federal programs.
• Experience leading and mentoring remote enterprise cybersecurity teams, including performance management and skill development.
• Experience developing cybersecurity strategies, tracking cyber metrics, supporting audits, and delivering training or demonstrations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead adoption of new cyber technologies, drive operational excellence, and exceed expectations in enterprise cyber environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate government security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with NASA customers and internal teams, delivering high-quality cyber results.
• Lead cybersecurity strategy, governance, risk management, architecture, and operations.
• Direct cybersecurity operations, engineering, and incident response to satisfy federal requirements.
• Track cybersecurity metrics and report program performance with data-driven insights.
• Oversee continuous monitoring, audits readiness, and enterprise risk management.
