Health Research, Inc. is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator to oversee planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting for the Asthma Control Program focused on preventing and controlling childhood asthma.

You will collaborate with partners, provide technical assistance on evaluation activities, and ensure data collection and performance monitoring meet funding requirements. The role requires leadership in coordinating dissemination materials and communicating progress to varied audiences,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with four years of program coordination in public health, health, or human services; OR an Associate’s with six years’ experience; Master’s may substitute for one year.
  • Two years’ experience must include supervision of staff and/or program management.
  • Master’s degree in Public Health or related field preferred with six+ years in large-scale interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting across Asthma Control Program interventions.
  • Engage internal/external partners and contractors to deliver milestones; provide technical assistance on evaluations.
  • Coordinate data collection and performance monitoring; develop reporting to show progress toward process/outcome measures.
  • Develop dissemination materials to communicate program interventions and promote asthma prevention and control messages.
  • Supervise staff and align deliverables with funding requirements.

Responsibilities will include: engaging internal and external partners and contractors in accomplishing deliverables; providing technical assistance to implementation partners on programmatic and evaluation activities; coordinating data collection, conducting performance monitoring, and developing reporting to demonstrate progress towards achieving process and outcome measures; analyzing program evaluation and asthma surveillance data to inform and monitor Asthma Control Program resource planning and intervention coordination; developing dissemination materials to communicate information on Asthma Control Program interventions and to promote key messages related to asthma prevention and control; overseeing program deliverables in alignment with funding requirements; supervising staff; and performing other appropriate related duties as assigned. **Minimum Qualifications**A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of program coordination experience in a public health, health, or human services-related program or community-based organization; OR an Associate’s degree in a related field and six years of such experience; OR eight years of such experience. The experience must have been contributing toward the development, implementation and/or evaluation of a program, project or other related activities. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience. At least two years of experience must have included supervision of staff and/or program management.**Preferred Qualifications**Master's degree in Public Health or related field and at least six years of experience in developing, coordinating, implementing, and/or evaluating large-scale public health interventions related to chronic disease prevention and control. Demonstrated experience engaging local, statewide, and national organizations in efforts to advance evidence-based chronic disease prevention and control strategies supporting children with asthma; proficiency in coordinating data collection and performance monitoring for public health programs; and demonstrated experience summarizing data analytic results, report writing, and public presentation to varied audiences. **Conditions of Employment**Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Travel up to 10% of the time will be required.
